Default JR SC reliability?

my friend is thinking of forced induction. i know you get more power from a turbo but i'm just wondering how the jackson racing super charge or teh vortech supercharger does after a awhile. like how long have you havd you SC on you car and have you had any internal problems. i know it shortens engine life but how much?

The eaten supercharger ( That comes in the Jackson kit) is the most relable blower there is . That is why the GM etc,etc use it. Now when you monkey with it and turn 8 million rpms , it will have problems.
