Default wiring harness/ecu dilemma for ek

i currently have a messed up 96 dx 5spd engine harness(obd2) converted to run a jdm p30 (obd1) ecu through the skunk2 harness. my question is this.... i haven't been able to find a 5spd 96-98 ex harness, only an auto harness. i need the new harness regardless, but will i have any problems plugging in the auto vtec harness into a 5spd jdm 98 itr ecu (obd2 plug-ins)??? any help would be much appreciated. i think i know the answer, but need some verification....

also, which diagram to hookup vafc?

Why not just run the needed wires additional to your DX wiring harness?

well... i have and did....
all the vtec and knock wires and maybe just 2 or 3 more are spliced into the skunk2 harness b/c there are ALREADY wires in the corresponding pins on the engine harness. weird to me, but true. i do not know what they go to, but know that the car ran great til about a week and a half ago... then the iacv started its thing.

there is also a lot of splicing/lengthening of wires under the hood. i figured i can't start fixing sensor related issues til i KNOW that my wireharness is good to go>>>
so i'm getting a new one that's old news, how bout the original post?

get a 96-98 ex harness.....and your 98 ITR ECU will plug and play. Also I think there is some **** witha pin for the fuel pump, but a Helms manual would do the trick. good luck
