Civic CX exhaust manifold
your turbo of choice(preferably w/ internal wastegate)
eclipse BOV
any factory IC
a whole lotta mandrel bent piping( or if you want o be even cheaper=compression bent)
oil lines
some kind of AFC( or find a way to bleed air to MAS)

Check out www.turboxpress.com for DIY turbo material.

buy my turbo from me it has an internal wastegate (i ran it on the same engine) get a drag manifold off of ebay, buy a used fmu,and fuel pump and go to home depot to buy piping. that engine is easy to turbo and doesn't require to much tuning to make it run happy and make lots of power (for a d15)....according to my g-tec i had 139whp.....not to much but it was good for low 15's

Forgot a few things..

HF/STD/CX manifold will work. You'll need to fabricate a custom adapter plate to mate the turbo to the manifold though. That's the cheapest route.

IMO 1st gen DSM BOV is the best bang for the buck. I got one for $35 shipped off DSMTrader. Sometimes you can find them at the JY cheaper, but I couldn't.

Once again.. dsmtrader is your friend. Pickup a 14b for around $50-100. Otherwise pull a t3 or an IHI RHB5 from the local JY if you can find one.

If you want super cheap, build a map limiter or buy one from FileToFit and get some DSM 450cc injectors. Decent engine management = $60.. alot better than an FMU too.. Do a search for SMC/AFC Hack/Map Limiter and read.. alot of info here.

check here for more info http://www.homemadeturbo.com

What would you run with a 1.5 turbo and i thought you have to use a hx manifold instead of a cx.

where can you get all the little things?? like oil lines, gaskets, adaptor for turbo to manifold, downpipe..ect? i was just thinking of getting a greddy kit cause dont want to built it wrong and blow my motor...and i dont know how to weld so i probably have to go to a muffle shop to weld for me so that will cost more money

Dont but greddy. For the same price you could build your own turbo kit and buy a standalone FMU for that price.

Use the search function and make sure to look in archived posts. Theres a tona stuff bout homemadetubos. If you havent already look'd @ home made turbo .com the do it. They made a D sereis kit for 191 bucks..... W/o any fuel management unit of course. but if you buy a SMC youll b set.....

Good luck

Blaze
