CUSTOM Turbo on 98 civic ex
Whats up guys. My car is slow as crap and I want to go turbo. I decided I want to go custom to save some money and to gain knowledge. I would just like some help deciding on what turbo to get. I'm gonna run stock internals cuz I dont have the cash flow. What kind of turbo could I get away with runnin like 6-8 lbs of boost with. Can pick a used one up from ebay if its in good shape? Who would make all the piping for me? thanks fellas

you'll need a 12:1 FMU
Intercooler/piping
turbo manifold
inline fuel pump
turbo
custom downpipe
check valves
brass tee for oil feed line
tapped oil pan for return line
bov, and bov flange

regardless of whether you put together a custom kit, or get a used one, make sure you have enough $$$ for some dyno time & tuning. the stock engine can run without blowing up as long as it's tuned well. Of course, it also means you need to have $$$ to buy that items that will allow you to tune the car. For 6 psi, probably a fuel pump, VAFC.
