Default Bc6057 vs Manley rods for boost

Hello all. Long time user. I'm considering these 2 rods. I have a gsr block with LS Rods with some Nippon racing pistons. I have a rod/stroke of 1.54 which isn't good for high revs. My Acura El cluster redlines at 8 so that's where I want to keep it. The Brian crower lightweight 6057 rod weighs 440g while the Manley weighs 515g. They both use arp2000 bolts but the bc are significantly lighter. If you have info on rods that use 7/16 bolts, that'll help my poor r/s ratio. I have the turbo kit from kseriesparts(first turbo set up) and I don't plan on going more than 400ish(years down the line). What are your suggestions on these 2 rods or if you can suggest a strong, yet lightweight rod that would be cool too.

I think either one will work and be good, however I’d choose the Manley rod for more durability. If you want to save weight, go with a lightweight flywheel. Saving weight on a connecting rod isn’t going to turn into much better noticeable performance. It might rev slightly faster with the lighter weight Brian Crower though…

I'm assuming you're using an LS or B20 crank with those LS rods?

Manley. Not worth sacrificing strength and durability to save such a small amount of weight with the BC rods.

You assume correct.

Thanks for the replies. The weight I'm trying to save isn't for the whole car, it's to help with the rod stroke ratio. Since it's not a "balanced engine" with my LS gsr combo, the lighter weight rods would help with the acceleration of the pistons going up and down, not beating up the rod bolts. I'm figuring less weight-less stress on rod bolts-less chance of a knock at higher rpm) I built this engine in 2013( I have a build thread here)

I’m not sure on this but wouldn’t you have to factor in the weight of the crankshaft and flywheel also?
The lighter rod would put less stress on the piston, but then if you have a heavy flywheel wouldn’t it mean more stress on the piston?
Which is why I suggested just getting a light weight flywheel and the stronger connecting rods.

while i plan on getting a flywheel, i used the stock b16 flywheel for my build, and it hasnt give me any problems. while what you are saying makes relative sense to me, i dont know enough to argue it lolol. my main goal is high rpm durability while using mix match crank and rods to the block. i went with the brain crower rods. they have a hp rating of only 350 which is realistically want to be in a fwd car. but much lighter. not chasing big power, but reliability in the long run.
