which rods to use?
I would like to know what you guys think. I am debating between a few rod choises. lmk whinch one would be the best buy.
-Brian Crower (BC) billet rods with arp 625 aged rod bolts
-race engeenering billet rods
-Manley turbo tuff rods
these are all steel rods, also about the same price range
as for the motor it would be an 85mm type-r block with an LS crank it will be boosted and looking for 650-850 whp approx.
thanks for the help

I dont have any real world experience with them yet, but I do have manley Turbo Tuff rods in the engine I have for this year. I am shooting for the same whp goal.

I have the ARP 625+ aged bolts in my turbo tuff's. I have yet to make competitive "outlaw" power though. Never heard of 365 aged bolts.... is that a typo by chance?
Like others say you should look into at least .220 wall pins as well.

I'm not saying that one is better than the other but there is a difference between CROWER and Brian Crower....IMO the ARP 2000 bolts work just fine unless you will be turning the motor at a really high rpm.
