Default lsvtec finally built need some help on the tune!!!

hey everyone thanks for the help!

so i have a 95 gsr shell that has a built lsvtec with a precision 6262
rc750 injector
omni 4bar map sensor
aem 320 fuel pump
skunk 2 intake manifold
golden eagle sleeved b18 bored to 84.5mm
king bearing set
gsr oil pump
supertech low comp 84.5mm pistons
manley turbo tuff rods
b16 head on stock cams and valve with dual valve springs
stock fuel pressure
build tranny carbon syncros
lsd

thats a quick rundown of the build, so i have a datalog i need to be looked over its currently running on 14 lbs runs pretty smooth
the kicker i am having is the only way to get the car to start is to advance the dizzy all the way all marks on timing belt line up when spun i am running a base tune b16 turbo i believe that i changed all of the settings for map injectors etc... but the car will only start under this condition not in the datalog as the cranking doesnt keep it datalogging wondering if anyone has any idea about that also the other thing that came up is i boosted through 1 2 3 4 with no problem but i pulled it out of gear for the slow down and immeadiatly the car shut off( present in the datalog) i put in 4th gear and let the clutch out car started right back up just wondering if anyone could check out my datalog and let me know whats going on. also u will notice the coolant at 150 i somehow disabled it when getting the car running because i was bleeding out the air in the coolant and it kept popping the engine light so i had disabled that sorry if that screws up the datalog

i am new to the hondata s300 and dont want to really mess with igntion timing tables because i am not too familiar with doing it!

thank you in advance for the help i will add the datalog in
but i will need someone to tell me how to do this as the saved file is not recognized??

If you're still on a base map, you might want to get a professional tuner to dyne tune it. That should help the timing issue, the starting issue, and the stalling issue. Base maps are only suppose to be used to start the car and get it to a tuner. 14PSI is a lot of boost to do on a base map.
As far as Datalogs, I think you can only upload screen shots of the data logs to the internet, not the actual Datalog because it requires the Hondata software to view, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes I understand the the base map situation I’m not giving full boost onto the motor I should have specified it’s on a 14 lbs spring but the boost parameter is at 8 I appreciate the reply with your knowledge on the subject of

My goal here is to get a few miles on the set up to have it tuned the guy in they area runs about 700 for tune and pre inspection non refundable I just want to make sure the car will run correctly for more then 10-15 mins before taking the gamble on the dyno( I know it’s always a gamble) but would hate to have to pay twice for something small and avoidable

No the car will idle nicely it’s when I get into it to start it, it will crank and crank and crank unless I advance the dizzy all the way then it will fire right up, let the car warm up to operating temp adjust the dizzy back to the 16 degrees +\-2 it will run beautiful then shut the car off it cools off and won’t start unless i advance the dizzy again

You need to sync the timing between the dizzy and the computer.

Honda-Tech does not support the Hondata datalog file type (.s3d) to be uploaded and attached. The OP can upload them to the Hondata forum though - he may want to try starting a thread there. Doug and/or Matt are pretty responsive. Though...they're going to tell him to take it to a professional.

Update on syncing timing today, so went to set timing with the light to sync with hondata jumped the 2 wire plug to set it and the car was not happy at all started idling wildly and then sent the hondata into a meltdown had to shut the car off restart the laptop and undo the battery let it sit for about 5 mins and went back to normal after pulling the jumper.... now I’m confused

I think there should be a setting that allows you to lock timing at (x)degrees. I know Neptune does..

Yes I opened the timing feature on the hondata I started at 16 degrees... on the laptop setting I have a replacement dizzy which is common to not have the leeway on an oem so I was getting 14 degrees on the timing light I then realized I didn’t jump the plug for the codes so I jumped the plug to set timing correctly and everything started going haywire hondata froze up start blinking red and the car started running very hard

When you select to lock timing in your engine management, you do not need to do the jumper.

Ok that’s good to know I was just wondering about that

another question i have is that if I am get 14 degrees on the timing light and marks on the motor when I have the hondata open to set timing should I then change that to 14 instead of the base 16?

Yes. Lock Computer timing at whatever and match the crank pulley / light with that number by rotating distributor.
