99 Civic Si Car dies while driving
So I have a 1999 Honda Civic Si ( Canada so the D16Y8 SOHC Vtec ) Hoping someone can shed light on my issue
Car keeps dying while driving ( Just Engine )
I have noticed the Check Oil Light and Battery Light come on ( If that helps ) Saw something posted about those dash lights somewhere
here is what I have replaced so far
Crank Shaft Position Sensor
Alternator
Goes in next week for Timing Belt as that needs replaced
Maybe someone knows what the issue could be?

Does it restart after waiting a few minutes? If you're on the freeway, does it restart on it's own? If so, check the distributor because you're probably not getting spark 100% of the time.
Yes it will restart after I wait a few minutes, Wont Start on its own I have to turn key to off and restart it, I will definately check Distributor, Could also be Main Relay, almost didnt start for me today, Possibly Ignition Coil? if not these could I be missing something?

Can you restart immediately or is there a period where it will crank but not start?
In that latter case check for spark during the time that it will not start. The ignition module is a common cause of this, it will stop working when hot and work again after it cools.
Also check for any ECU codes.
