Default Oil Feed line for turbocharger question. What's the safest route in this case?

So I have having issues with the feed line that came into my turbo kit so I made a 90 fitting with brass but my feed line runs under my exhaust manifold has any one every done it this way ? is it safe or should i heat wrap my manifold and place like a head shield on the feed line??

Side note I tied down my feed line so it would not hit the manifold

You will just be putting a lot of extra heat into your oil, before it goes into the turbo. Not a good thing.

Can you not flip the turbo 180° on the manifold, putting the compressor on the driver's side and bringing the oil feed inlet out in front of the manifold?

Get a longer feed line and run around into the inlet...from the front instead of underneath the manifold

That might help, but any way you slice it with that turbo orientation you are going to be getting close to the manifold. I might run an oil temp gauge if you are gonna roll like that.

i agree with this, I ran a heat sleeve over the oil feel line that was around 12-14 inch long which should resolve this matter, just don’t let hit touch the manifold

Another +1 for this. Best solution here (in addition to the long run-around feed line).

Is the center port on the CHRA threaded?
I'd also suggest checking to make sure that drain is 5/8 and not 1/2".

You just need a male to male adapter to add another short line or just order a longer line in general.

That's what I'm using for my feed line. They are the same thing, braided hose line for oil/chemicals. You can get another 3AN feed line on eBay for like under $15.

They should have 3AN lines, with one straight and one 90 degree end...

I thought about getting that at first but since I do have clearance on my setup I went with a 48" straight end line.
