Hey all! I installed Tegiwa CAI on my 99 EK4.

I uploaded a video with throttle closed on neutral , there is a weird noise from the Cone (continuous noise)

Can you tell me if this is normal?

That is normal. The air going into the engine will make noise. The stock intake is designed to muffle it out.

 

Thanks for sorting that out! was kinda worried, cause tegiwa did send me the intake and even though they said it would fit on an EK in the description, I should have bought the one with the 2 curves , so it doesnt get so close to the Water Reservoir

Question: Should I cut the pipe that is useless now that had the stock airbox beneath to pull air and use it to bring air from below straight to the cone?
