strange noise, anyways, at WOT in any gear above 3500-4000 rpm, my car will give off a whistling noise, like air is moving thru a pinhole at a high rate of speed

i have no idea where its coming from, i can be at 70% throttle at 6000 rpm i will not hear it, only when i go WOT

does not sound like a worn bearing or rubbing or anything like that, just air movement

anyone?

well its a stock intake pipe, who knows? as long as its not something serious, it idles fine and everything , i dont think i have a vaccum leak

do you have a cone intake filter, hondasw/ intakes are known for this sound

i would be looking at the vacum hose s on the intake side first..sometimes only at certain velocity s will u notice a the noise..same with the exhaust..

try tighening the *0* ring to the intake manifold..and then check for any crack s on the stock intake hose

but ill checvk those, it doesnt really bug me, i was just hoping it wasnt sometihng serious

i get the same sound but mine sounds like a supercharger. i think its when i hit vtec. my car is also stock except for 2inch custom piping bolted to a stock muffler.
