Doing a auto to manual swap...motor mount post question
So I have a d16 from a manual car and putting it in my auto chassis. Not done all the way, as I see that the two post bracket is narrower on the 5 spd swap than the one on the auto long block. Is the only way to fix this is to swap the post, or to get a mount that fits the narrow post? Or is it being that it's a auto chassis only swapping the post will work?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
i've done a few of these, and they use the same post mounts. the bracket is different.. my guess is that someone swapped out the post for a different gen civic, so yes, change the post mount out.
Ahhhh, thanks. Easy enough. Also quick question, will the 96-00 pedals, like clutch and brake fit a 92-95? I have these available, though I would ask.
