So I have a 2000 civic lx stock under the hood. The problem I'm having and can't find an answer anywhere is that on a cold start the car runs fine and does so for up to an hour........now as soon as the car is hot if I turn it off and restart the motor before it gets cold again it runs like hell almost like it's only on 3 cylinders and sounds like a subaru. I have no codes while the car is off or cold. Does throw a p0335 when it's hot and running rough but I have replaced the crank sensor and done all tune up items just to be safe. Can anyone point me in the right direction please this is frustrating as hell cause it's technically intermittent and hard for the mechanics I've taken it to to diagnose it in a reasonable amount of time. I've been into Hondas for over 20 years and don't want to just start replacing random sensors on a hunch. No I can't do electrical testing as I'm disabled. TIA!!!!

So I checked this out and even tried an ecu reset when the cat was hot and had no change. I did find one new thing that yesterday when I went to take it for a small trip it was extremely hot outside and it ran rough and crappy right from the get go. Not sure if that points to anything new. Any help is much appreciated!!
