Yo wats good fam. I got a integra that keeps overhating on me..so heres what happens. I can drive the car for at least an hour but wen im in traffic on stop and go the needle starts to move slowly until it hits the H. But when i hit 40 mph and stay in that speed the needle moves to normal temp. I dont know wats wrong with it. Ive replaced the thermostat twice,replaced the upper and lower rad hoses,cooliant temp sensor, radiator with an aluminum one, radiator fans that are wired to a troggle switch. Please help!

 

If you run both fans and it still overheats in traffic, you probably have a water pump problem. Worn impeller blades will not circulate coolant fast enough to get rid of heat.

 

Thanks for the insight appreciate it.That was my next step. I actually have the pump and timing belt sitting at my home but one mechanic told me it wasnt the pump because it was not leaking. So i didnt end up installing it.
