Shuts off
2000 Honda Accord LX car shuts off while at red light or while turning, the car shakes pretty hard before cutting off to warn me, sometimes I don’t get a warning. I got a new alternator, battery cables, fuel filter, spark plugs & spark plugs wires, got the battery, alternator & started tested & they were pretty good, what else could it be ?
It's possible that catalytic converter is bad and the exhaust is backed up(clogged). You can try removing the oxygen sensor just to see if it helps the exhaust to breathe and see if it runs better.
Ignitor inside the distributor. AKA "ignition module"
Expensive as heck from new part stores, I get mine from the u-pull as they fit nicely in pockets while I buy some $2 chunk of trim. I take like 4 of them in case 3 don't work and so I have more spares. I could get you a few for the cost of shipping, next time I go.

they dont last forever that's for sure lol.
prone to heat failure. usually dead within 100k miles.
usually you'll get tachometer freakout when it's biting the dust.
just replaced mine with an airtex unit from rockauto.
reasonably priced and supposedly built to withstand the heat.
working great so far we'll see....

Every single one I've borrowed as a spare from the junkyards had no heatsink thermal compound underneath. When I install them I add appropriate smear of Arctic Silver or equivalent ceramic thermal transmission grease (same as computer heatsinks).
