Civic 04 Wont rev past 3k, need help
OK I have a honda civic 04 DX that wont rev up past 3k. I changed the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor. Then I started the car and it took longer to start and wouldnt revup at all. I changed the camshaft back to the one it had and it reved back up to 3k. I checked the timing and it was ok. Also the coolant temp is not showing on the gauge, nor does the obd2 work. At first it showed link error and after I changed crank and camshaft sensors it says that the ignition key is not half way even though it is. Also it is a standard car, I dont know how to read codes without scanner, check engine light is on. Could the ecu be bad? The spark plugs are black.
Update: I changed the ECU and now the scanner worked. The codes shown are:
P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input
P0113 IAT Sensor 1 Circuit High Input
P0135 Oxygen O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
The car will crank but wont start, probably because I need to program it?

I got a new code this time, somebody reprogrammed my ECU and now I get P0339 instead of P0335. He came back again to see if there was programming error and he says theres not a programming error because the key lights up green. The car will start but the gas cuts off after 2 seconds.
The car wont start anymore, turned on the first time but now it doesnt and the computer makes a noise. Im starting to believe its bad programming. I was going to take it to honda but I was trying to avoid using a dolly. Any help? Is it normal for the green key to blink?
Turns on, only when gas is loaded but I think the computer cuts off the gas. Could bad programming cause this issue or maybe the ignition switch has a problem?
Can I just take the ECU out and have them pair it with my key at the honda dealership?

The fact that you say it turns on at all means, the ecu is reading the key correctly, so I'd rule out programming. I would look at other things like cam and crank sensor and check the timing of the engine. Any of those three not to spec will cause the car to behave as you described.

I can confirm it was a bad crankshaft sensor, car starts and runs fine now. I learned my lesson to not buy sensors from ebay anymore.
