ok my issue is way different then any others. My idle isn't surging. It acts like it has two modes to the idle. When I start it up, it goes all the way to 4-5k rpm. After while its goes to the second mode. It drops down to the regular idle around 600-1500 anywhere between that. Normal idle. Then I go driving after awhile of driving it goes back up to the second mode. 3-4-5k rpm. And then drops back down. It does that over and overs up for 10-20 mins and then back down for 10-20 mins. Up and down. And it's very annoying and I don't wanna drive it with such high Rpms. Driving is fine it's goes down when I shift and drives fine just when it's in neutral the Rpms are so high. And sometimes it's normal. Again it has like two modes. I have no clue what's goin on and I've tried a lot. Extensive research and I still can't fix the problem. Can anyone help or suggest some ideas please. Thank you.

 

Check iacv or swap with know good one and make sure TPS voltage is within specified range.

 

I'll give that a try but do you understand what the problem is. It's werid. Sometimes is normal idle then outta no where it goes up to 4-5k rpm. And then after awhile it goes back to normal idle. It doesn't slowly go up to 4-5k it like goes up quick and stays there. It's not like slowly goes up and down it has like a set mode or somethin.

 

Could also try bleeding coolant, bubbles in the system can cause idle issues such as hunting idle randomly
