Idle problems
i have this very small idle problem... everytime i am driving down the road and put my car in neutral the car starts to idle at like 1400 rpms and slowly drops to 1000 and when i come to a complete stop the car drops down to 800 rpms after like 10 seconds. i think it may be a vacuum problem but im not sure. Does anyone have any ideas??

My lude does the exact same thing when its not at operating temp. I dont know what the problem is. Also when I pump my brakes the idle surges up and down. Very weird, and I've cleaned all my valves I don't know what it is. Probably just the cold weather.
pumping the break will make the idle change in a lot of cars... every honda I have been in does that... as far as the idle sitting around 1500 after you stop then slowly dropping, I have no idea... I have been woundering that myself because my 91 just started doin that.... it pisses me off! Im putting in a new ecu later on today to see if that may help seems how the one I have has been chiped and whored around to several cars (chip may have been instaled wrong and fried the ecu?)

When your car is not at operating temp, the FITV (fast idle thermo valve) is causing it to idle higher so it will warm up faster...that is exactly what it's supposed to do. Almost all cars have something like that, it's not a problem.
Idle going up when you pump the brakes is also completely normal, most all cars will do that. It has to do with the brake booster using the engine vacuum and the one-way check valve.
How did you clean your valves?
