MSD Ignition, 1 Step colder NGK spark plugs, Spark plug wires. Also an aftermarket intake, header, and exhaust will help to increase performance. This should be good for a 65-70 shot no problem.

Let's try to be constructive. Why should GSRacer1 not get a dry kit? A good reason would be appreciated.

I was thinking of getting a "DRY" kit. Why should i get a "WET" kit....Isnt a Dry kit more reliable. What shuold i get if i were to just want a little more power to get some momentum going...I dont want that much more power from the Nitrous i just wanted a little more help. I have basic mods just wondered what else i would need.

Dry kits are cheaper and easier to install. Wet kits properly mix your air and fuel into your cylinders which allows you to run a higher and safer shot. Although it costs more.

with 100K on ur odometer, id be more worried about your rings, and timing belt, aside from whether you get a wet or dry kit. Unless these have been recently changed. Dont forget a clutch, and a conservative nitrous user

Dude just get a ZEX kit, 2 steps colder plugs, and run up to a 75 shot... Retard your timing 2 degrees for a 65 shot and 4 degrees for a 75 shot... You'll be fine and you can get it all for under $600 installed including filling your bottle...

Buy my GSR NOS PLATE SYSTEM...thats what you should do if you want to run a wet shot. It a direct port and goes right in the middle of you IM. Its never been used and still in the box.. 500 Shipped. I'll even throw in the NGK's I bought.

I haven't really heard people's opinions about a dry set up. But w/ 100k, I'd be concerned about rings, pistons, and the condition of your motor.

actually from someone who has had every kit on their car. . . . the NOS dry kit was harder to instal l that the single fogger wet kit . and the direct port is the hardest only becuase of having to tap the manifold.

I think my motor is in pretty good conditoin. I basically had all the head work done recently. Yes and i would chek my pistons and rings out..But i was really wondering what kit would be less crucial on the motor. I would also be looking for only like a 50 shot or something.i can do all the install or some1 i know if its 2 complicated for me, but im pretty sure i could do it, so money for install isnt a problem. So then what would be cheaper and what benefits would i get from either kit more than the other?

Wet kits properly mix your air and fuel into your cylinders
No a wet shot puts it right into the intake pipe where fuel can puddle and cause a intake backfire. A direct port is much safer than a wet shot. A dry kit is safer than a wet shot. I know of a couple of people running wet shot and never had an intake backfire, but you never know.

Ive had nitrous express fogger kit on three different cars now and never a problem. Went through roughly 30 bottles on my stock gsr motor with i/h/e and stock timing.. 75 shot.. Car ran great with stock plugs and all.. I was running 13.6 with this setup.. But its all about how you use it.. Any nitrous kit will make your car faster, its up to you not to abuse it and blow your car up.. Foggers work great for anything under 100 shot. As long as you are injecting the nitrous as far down your intake tube as possible. It allows the nitrous and fuel time to atomize and equally divide between the cylinders..I would agree that direct port is safer, but way harder to install and more money. You can be safe with fogger.
Ps Dry sucks ***!!!

First of all do a leakdown and compression test. Go witha wet setup. Reliability is the reason. It combines the proper amount of fuel and N20 rather than just spraying N20 in the intake and hoping it mixes proportionally. If you want real consistency go direct port. I wouldnt run more than a 75 shot unless you sleeve the block, considering the mileage you have and stock internals.Like these guys said, upgrade the ignition, plugs, and fuel pump and you'll be fine. Tuning is the key, and ya gotta keep the plugs checked. A window switch is a great investment as well, it can prevent you from spraying in an overrev if say you miss a shift. Good luck with the bottlefeeding. And oh yeah, you'll need to upgrade the clutch.
