NOS on ITR
just wanted to get a few tech answers if anyone had first hand experience at this..
if you were to run a 60 shot, what to consider a wet or dry system?
This would also be combined with an intake, straight pipe, exhaust, and 4-1 header.
Is it a must to change to a colder plug (7) or stock (6) can be used?
This is one of the options i will consider in about 2 months or so, and i wanted to get some opinions on it.. btw, NOS will hardly be used.. maybe 2-3 a month.
thanks for any input!

The ZEX kit is an sxcellent kit, and a 65 shot from it wil really spice up your R.
As for the advatanges of wet or dry, their are pros and cons to both.
Wet:
Pros - You will get more power from a wet kit than a dry
You avoid a possible lean situation that can lead to detonation
Cons - You can "load" the manifold with fuel and cause manifold detonation
Dry:
Pros - No worries about manifold detonation
Easy installation
Cons - You could run lean and cause detonation.
You are limited in how high of a shot you can run before you need to add extra fuel
Now while the ZEX kit is a dry kit in theory, it adjusted your fuel pressure to add more fuel while you squeeze. This will give you the advanage of extra fuel, without worrying about the hassles of a wet kit.
If you are going to stay at a 60 shot, I would recommend the ZEX kit or a dry kit by NOS or Nitrous Works. If you plan on going much higher, you will need to go wet.
I have ran a ZEX kit on my car and was very happy with the results. I have switched over to a a NOS Wet Kit because I wanted to go higher than the ZEX kit would allow.

ive seen a few people get really good results out of an ITR with just IHE, HFCat, real aggressive cam and some nice tuning.. 13's on street tires, combine that with a wet 80 shot and youve got a C5killa on your hands..
well basically my goal is to shoot the safest amount of NOS as possible without getting myself into any major problems.
I said 6065 shot because most people i know run about that much on stock motors just to be safe.. If i go with a wet kit from NOS.. would i have to get an aftermarket FPR? bottom line what's more reliable in the long run on 60-65 wet or dry system? Reason i decide to go NOS is because i really dont want to spend a few K's doing all motor upgrades or front 6K+ for turbo (i'd love to but cant afford it) so this will act as a replacement for me that will be used once in a while..
thanks all!

My friend has a ZEX kit on his civic...he shots a 55-65 shot. Its an awesome kit..easy to install and works great. You will be amazed at how much a 55-75 shot of NOS will speed up your car..
If i recall...ZEX comes with a 55, 65, and 75 shot nosel.
