How much HP will RC 440's hold?
Its all about the pressure, and the engines BSFC.
The more pressure the higher HP capacity.
(some people have seen over 400Hp with 440's)
The higher the engines BSFC, the less HP the injector can support.
(some engines could only get around 200HP out of 440's, because of their crappy BSFC)

usually hit 85% at 280-290whp. 95% around 320-330. but if you push them close to
100%, anything odd happens on the street and bye bye motor because you dont
have enough extra fuel to compensate

rate. and that has to be taken into consideration

whats the max HP 440's will take?
keep bsfc to 0.6 is what I recommend for NA; about 0.8 for boost
hard to max 440 on na motor unless you have some sick race only 4 bangr running alky.
Greg
you calculate maximum power based upon flow rate at a given duty cycle, line pressure and BSFC. Fuel pump sizing is chosen based upon the line pressure and flow rate, therefore you don't figure out how muh power you can make on a given set of injectors based upon the pump.
Cheetah- .6 BSFC for an NA motor? That's ballparking a 12:1 a/f, seems a little high?

i think RC's injector worksheets demonstrate how all the conditions affect the injectors and the amount of power they support http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm
