anyone know which is the reverse lamp wire from under dash? are they can be located under the dash or somewhere near the fusebox? i need to hook up the wire from the head unit for my rear view camera.

 

What's the problem?

 

the camera only works when I connected the RCA plug from the camera to Video Input on the head unit, not Rear-Cam input on the head unit. The Video Input supposed to use for something else , not for Camera.

 

the head unit only have 2 RCA socket for video. one for rear view camera, another is for Video In which is attached next to left and right audio-in RCA. it might be used for iphone/ipod AV.

finally i have to extend the trigger wire from head unit all the way to back up light wire (green) under the rear speaker grill and it works. the blade fuse for back up light under dash is always hot n cannot be used to trigger the rear camera.

 

Was going to say you can access the rev. lead at the back-up light switch on the transmission, but just as easy to do it as you did. 94
