Hey guys! I will be starting to build my turbo engine soon. But before anything i would like to ask for your help on what turbo should i get and also feedback on the parts that im planning to use. My goal is around 550-600whp. Fuel will be on 100octane pump gas.

I hate precision, so I'm going to say stay far far away.

S366 sounds like a winner (theyre 575$ shipped for the shelf one on ebay)

Lucks good. Is there a reason you wanted a t4 turbine housing

Borg Warner here as well. I used to run an S256 and it was a great little turbo ...and its still going strong 40k+ miles later

There are a lot of turbine options to pick from

 

Those are massive turbos for 550-600whp. Both can do well over 750-800whp

Would the s256 make it to 600whp. Would that be on the hotter end of effiency. Ive always wonder that.

 

It's WAY out of its league by 600whp. Yes, it technically can, but everything else has to be perfect, including the weather, for that to happen.

There are a LOT of choices for that range of power that's efficient for under 2.4 litres. What he's looking at is just huge. With the turbine housing even larger.

I would easily go smaller. Not as small as a S256, but something in the 58lbs/min-70lbs/min range. No more.

 

This might be more size appropriate from the BW lineup
