Idle dropping after throttle
Good Morning Honda-Tech,
I jus did a swap n my EJ6 , i have a b20z2 w a p75 chipped. My problem is wen i give it throttle i have trust issues w the idle , sometimes i'll keep my foot on the throttle to keep it alive . it might die 1/5 times , did not today tho . after about 15 minutes of idling , the idle dropped to about 600 , which seems low because i remember the stoxk motor pegging @800-900. it does not bounce up to 1500 then to 1000 , but instead , cold start to 1900, 1 min later slowly drop to 1500 , then to 1000 & slowly creep down to 600ish . i do not have an exhaust on it until i get a flanged welded onto my stoxk exhaust , but I have more issues . my fuel pressure seems to bounce between 43-41 during idle+vacuum according to my fpr. & the feed line coming from the stoxk fpr to my aftermarket fpr seems to jiggle during priming like theres air bubles n it , as much as i try i cannot rid of this problem. Any help ?
Thank you

No codes , Ecu was reset prolly 2 hours of run time ago.
i replaced the iacv w a known good iacv & also did a 3 wire to 2 wire coversion , solder into stock D harness & repinned the harness
I'm exastitic to talk to u , ive read many of ur reply's on injector grounds & what not.

MAP sensor measures vacuum so it won't blow bubbles but it might suck in the fluid if the gasket is bad.
I would do a visual check and make sure there is no metal corrosion around the gasket that could cause a vacuum leak.

Ahh good point , maybe i wont hose down my bay anymore lmao.
its weird cause the throttle is immediate , def seems like a vac leak tho.
Wen i cover my iacv the car dies almost immediatly ,
but wen warm the fast idle does nothing wen covered.
Should fp bounce during idle slighty?
& how/when does the idle screw work ?
do u turn it left = , or right =?
Thank you for all ur help! im glad I joined HT

If there is a vacuum leak at the MAP sensor some other things can't be adjusted correctly. The base idle screw won't seem to work if the MAP sensor is leaking. The fuel pressure will bounce around if the MAP sensor is not giving accurate info to the ECU and timing and fuel ratios are bouncing around because of it. These things are inter related and you have to fix things in a certain sequence. That's why the moderators on this forum try to give specific advice to get things fixed in the proper sequence.
Wow. thats amazing. If this works (havent got to it, it poured yesterday) that will b amazing. i have been holding back on the car . Do u see this problem often ?
