Default Question on loose retainer ring on front LCA (Integra)

Quick summary: Purchased an aftermarket front LCA from a shop off Facebook, however, the inner LCA (part where it bolt onto the frame) retainer ring was too small, so the stock bolt won't fit through. After much hassle, the seller shipped me a new set of retainer rings, so I pressed out the existing one and put the new one in, however, the new ones are a little bit loose, maybe ~1mm too small (the bolt fits perfect now).

Question: Will this cause an issue? Can I maybe get some polyurethane caulking from HomeDepot and fill it up?

I'll take one when I get home, but it's the metal "collar" that goes inside the bushing

I can't send the piece back, I am stuck with it. And I won't be doing any business with that guy, nor off Facebook ever again.

polyurethane bushings.

Yes...you will have issues with 1mm of slop if its between the bushing and the sleeve.

Yes it will cause an issue. No you can't fill it with caulk. You would be better off having the sleeve machined out to fit the bolt you are trying to put through it.

Really at this point the only options I can see are, see if you replace with other bushings. Possibly ES, or rubber bushings.

Front LCAs should be OEM, Hardrace, or nothing.

Rears I'd say OEM, Function7, Hardrace, MAYBE Skunk2, or nothing.

EVERYTHING else will wear out prematurely.

Or you could use the bushing sleeve that came with the control arm (the one that fit the bushing) and bore out the hole in the middle to fit the bolt.

Q, is the subframe in your car from an EK? I thought the EK took the same lca as an integra/eg except the EK uses a larger bolt for the lca to subframe.
