Default 94 civic b20z2 msd questions

Im to the point were im ready t throw my msd off a bank. i have a b20 with a chipped p28 tuned running between 12 and 15 psi. the car has ran fine with the stock ignition making killer passes. I had the msd 6al-2 with built in two step and a external coil with msd cap installed professionally. take the car to the track and it missed all the way down does anyone have any experience with msd and these cars?

Yeah, I tossed it in the bin and never looked back. You should've taken it back to the tuner to have him set it up.

MSD: Great for your car, as long as your car isn't a Honda.

This x100. MSD stuff doesn't play well with anything Honda.

If you need a better ignition setup there's a thread in this forum about it. Best bang for your buck is summit racing box, senditracing ICM delete and a crane cams PS92 coil. I went from .018 gap to .035 on 24-25psi with that same setup. No breaking up. No issues.
