you can do it with a DPDT switc for each side, IMO that would look better than a hacked JDM control.

sometimes on e-bay people sell conversion kits made out of parts from eg's and ek's. so that the master controls are on the left side.

my question is how much do the motors and assemblies weigh?

You didn't mention which model you have...

In my civic hatch, I put an Integra center console in which has 4 switch provisions in it. I got 4 matching switches and mounted them in there (2 for the SPAL power window motors in front, 2 for a future atempt at putting mini van window motors in the pop outs in back) now I only need one switch for each window and my passenger doesn't have to bother me if they want some air.

Before I had the teg console, I mounted the window switch pod bettween the shifter and the e-brake handle, it worked out pretty good.

I'll try to take some pics today and post them here tonight if you'd like.

EvlErn69 you have the JDM power window kit??
i was looking in to that and to see how it would look to actually flip the controls so you can place iton the drivers side other than the JDM driver side. Can you post some pics or e-mail me some pics, i would like to see this. nautica_t@hotmail.com

Sorry. 88 CRX DX. I have the spot by the windshield wipers, and i'm fine with that. Looks like i can put two window switches and a door lock. But what about my passenger? So many places i can think about, just wondering what everyone else has done.

What you want to do is get the switches (and door release handles) out of a 90/91 EE9. That's the european version of the EF9 and yet has the switches set up for left hand drive.

I just wish I could come up with a reasonable source that didn't want a ton of money.

Wes.

Do you think the center console will fit my 91 Civic DX?

Yes, any 94-00 Integra console will fit. It takes a little finesse, but it looks pretty good. There was a big post on this a while back, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=198324
