Did anyone install an acura integra center console and if so how did u rewire the cigarette lighter

 

it just plugs in...well mine did

Yea mine was plug and play also.. the middle wire on the cig lighter is 12v and the outer part of it is Negetive gROUND

the integra center console fits perfectly! i love it. i just recently got it in! it makes the interior looks very clean! ill try and get some pics up. if i know where to host them.

 

I put a 95 GSR console in my 89 si and everything plugged up. worked great.

 

 

Does the Integra console bolt straight in to the 2g CRX's too? What year console do I use?

oh, and to the question "will it fit in a 2g crx?"
no, it wont without some more modification, cause the center console in a crx is tilted towards the driver, unlike in the hatch.

Thanks. The pic is front last year, looks a little different now "I have a Carbon/Alumiunum shift handle and a Si Cluster now.

The floormats are WDM aftermarket mats "Walmart domestic market" hehe

Since the center console of the Rex is tilted toward the driver I doubt it will fit.

But, OH HOW WONDERFUL it would be to have an armrest in that damn car!!

If there's anyone that has done this to a rex or even the just the teg armrest part IM me or post immediately please!!!!

Did you guys have to trim the back of the console? Mine seems to be sticking out at the back. Also, there is that latch to fold the passenger seat down that is kinda in the way of the console. It's pressing hard against it. Is it easy to remove?

If you mean the console being brown then yes some of the 94+ tegs had brown interior and it will come close to matching. I have a black 95 teg console with armrest in my 89 HB. I have heard of people putting this console in there 2g CRX before. I dont know what all was requried to do so. But like it was stated above this console gives our cars a whole new look on the inside. VERY CLEAN

 

To the people that want an are rest in the rex....honda sells the aftermarket armrest made for civic EX coupes....My friend is getting one for his ek....it will fit into a rex just fine, with the whole stock console and everything just the arm rest.

 

I just installed a gsr console in my hatch and it is really nice. I love having a little place to throw stuff and place to rest my arm. Besides, it looks sweet. I need to go to the acura dealer and pick up an ashtray and those little plastice filler pieces by the armret. Anyone know what these cost?
