Default Power window switch question.

I have a 2000 Civic Si. I'm missing the power window switch on the passenger side, and the drivers side switch wont run the window either. My question is....do I need the passenger window switch hooked up in order for the drivers side switch to run the passenger window??? Sorry if thats a little confusing

From my understanding of what your asking, yes the passenger side switch must be connected in order for the window to work at all.

Is it possible to just somehow jump the connector on the passenger side?

I'd say maybe there is a way to jump it. Although not so safe, as in maybe you blow fuses and stuff. Thats why the switches are there, to cut the current only when needed. Your best bet is to get the actual switch.

If you want to try it, look at which wires are on the main doors switch, which leads to the passenger side. ....

Kinda like if you disconnect the hazard light switch, the turn signals wont work...

ANy questions, let me know.

Yeah, I tried to jump it a few different ways, still don't work. This sucks, Honda wants like $50 for the switch. I've got a post up in the classified section, hopefully someone hooks me up.

Ebay always has tons of them, search on there and you should find one for less than 50 bucks.
