Icon2 94 honda civic d16z6

it start up an run fine. can let it idle as long as you want but when i drive it about 5 miles it starts busting up an cuts off an watn start till it cools down but been a few times it will start back up an run... everthing has been repalce on the dizzy new cap button new wires, new fuel filter, new main relay, an a bunch of other relays.. i am a lil confused on this dont know what else to replace..

all are good.. lights dont really go dim any at all... it will just start busting up an die then it takes about 30 mins will crank an run again... will idle as long as you want it to.. just when you drive it about 5 miles it dies

also is there a way to get the door open.. driver do or will not open it is the door lock it self that is broke not the handles

What about the thermostat ground, thats critical to the ecu I believe. I've had a similar issue on an integra.

i am goin to double check all them.. but just re done everything on the car.. it does it faster if you get into the throttle any

if you go fast it will act up faster an cut off with in a mile or 2 if you drive it normal i can make it aout 5 miles an it will cut off

yea new regulator fuel an pump... that shouldnt cause to not crank for 30 mins

Depends if something was damaged, and you band-aid it. You'll need a gauge to make sure proper fuel pressure is being delivered.

Injector could be clogged as well. Any history on this car?

Oh so it doesn't crank for 30 min have you Checked ignition switch ?

just about everything has been replace on all new hoses, wires, dizzy rebuilt, battery relocated to trunk with good wire, new fuel filter, fuel pump, regulator, relays

Then you mean it cranks but won't run. You'll need to check for spark and fuel pressure. Recheck your work on the distributor.

work was done by a professional on dizzy.. sometimes it will crank right back when it dies.... it start spittin an sputtering then die... sometimes it will crank right back up an some times take about 30 mins

its not after market everthing is stock except the cap...

found the problem bad wire on dizzy replaced the whole thing that i got out the junk yard runing better not cutting off but still no vtec an still feels like its loosing power then picks up on take off
