95 Civic EX with D16Z6, 205k miles. Car has been running great for the most part while I have had it. The only issue I had is sometimes I would start the car and it would immediately die and I would have to start it again. I never had any issues with "cutting out" but it suddenly started doing it yesterday. I would be driving and it would the car would start shaking and you could hear the engine stuttering from the exhaust mostly at lower RPMs and speeds but would also do it at cruising speed sometimes. I replaced the fuel filter yesterday and the problem still persisted. This morning, I go to start the car and now it just cranks. If I turn the key to prime the fuel pump before starting it, I can hear it humming and I hear the main relay click so I know the fuel pump is at least operating but I get nothing when I crank.

Any ideas as to what this sounds like? I am thinking distributor cap or ignition coil. Yesterday I also made sure all cylinders were firing and they were so I am not sure what is going on.

UPDATE: Tested spark with an inline spark tester and there was spark but it didn't seem very strong. Just a tiny flicker. Also, I rented a fuel pressure tester but it did not come with the right fittings for my fuel filter banjo fitting. I tried just taking the small 12mm bolt out of the banjo fitting and having my girl turn the key on, shot gas about 2 feet up and to the left so I would say it has pressure. I am in the process of replacing the ignition coil now and I will update when it is complete. Broke the rotor getting it off, it was pretty rough so it's possible it died.
