Start engine outside of car
so I am going to buy a d16z6 complete swap over. The engine is out of the car and I wanted to know what I need to hook up to start the engine outside of the car.
So far I know I need to have a source of fuel, and and for coolibg I can either hook up a radiator or I can put a garden hose inside the thermostat Inlet. Last, I do know that I need to hook up a battery to the starter motor. Will I need to run power to the engine harness or will it receive power from power being supplied to be starter motor?

The short answer is: It cant be done.
Unless you are an electrical engineer, you wont understand the long answer..
The only thing you CAN do is check the compression.
Pull the plugs, hook up the tester, Give the starter 12v, and let it crank ~5 times.
