Ignition coil problems
I just replaced my coil on my gsr swapped civic and after a few minutes of idling it shut off. I couldn't get the car restarted so I checked if the coil had spark and it did not again. What would cause the coil to break so fast?
there could be an abnormal amoint of resistance or a short. Make sure there is no oil where the coil is. Inspect the wires to make sure they are not arching. check plugs to make sure the gap is correct and there is still an electrode. Also are you running a jumper harness? and check the resistance of the coil on primary and secondary to make sure they are within spec and its not the ignition module that is failing you
