Default GTX3076R's Journal bearing cousin

Made by my buddies at Turbo Lab of America.
KTS 11 blade billet wheel (59mm)
Journal bearing CHRA, 360 degree thrust bearing
T4 .67 AR, 62mm exducer

Does anyone have an idea how this turbo will spool? I believe I will make the same or a tad bit more power than an actual gtx (59mm vs 58mm inducer compressor, 62mm exducer turbine vs 60mm) obviously I will get outspooled like no other. This will be on a top mount, 10:5 comp LSVTEC.

it's hard to say with that t4 housing. Are you going to wrap or coat the manifold and housing? it would definitely help.

The one main benefit is that the single bladed wheels are a bit more efficient at moving more air at lower shaft speeds/pressures than a typical splitter wheel so you'll have slightly better power at low rpm/pressure and the single bladed wheels tend to respond a bit better as well.

Really over 18psi or so it's been tested and quasi-proven that a 7+7 or 6+6 wheel performs better than the single bladed wheels. that's why you'll notice that the gtx turbos make such good power at lower boost levels than older technology turbos but once you reach a certain pressure/power level each wheel will behave about the same as far as power

Im going to guess it will be in the GT35R ish territory or worse. Why did he choose such a bastardized 3076? (Im not one to talk)

Bc none of the specs are standard.
And why a T4 on a 3076?

I see. It was pretty much something he could put together with the parts he had. I have a t4 top mount manifold. Ive seen some t4 .63 ar and .69 ar turbine housings on sc61's and t67s and they are saying they spool pretty well. I'm hoping 81mm and 10:5 compression, and the 11 blade billet will help with spool.

It won't.

A top mount anything will already have more lag due to the long runners, toss in a big turbine wheel, turbine housing, and compressor wheel at it gets even worse.

I would look at what a typical gt35 does on a short runner manifold because that's close to how that turbo will behave on your setup.
