obd2a GSR into EM1 - high idle
Hey everyone. I just completed a obd2a jdm gsr swap into my odb2b em1.
It starts up just fine, compression test showed no problems in any cylinder. No CEL. The only problem there is with the car is the idle.
When at a complete stop, the revs sit at close to 2500 Rpm's. When it isn't idling high, the RPM fluctuates between 2500 and 300 as if there is a vacuum leak, but I can't find one.
When the car is suffering from the high idle problem and I'm driving in 4th at 40mph, if I let go of the gas the car will not slow down.
I've loosened up the throttle cable and it fixed the high idle problem for a week but now it's back. However during that week that I didn't have a high idle problem the revs would still fluctuate at a stop.
I haven't wired up my secondary butterfly valve.
Where should I troubleshoot next?
