bump for answers.....i believe i have been having the same problem with my car as well. i have surging idle from 1000 - 1300 once my car warms up but ive already replaced the IACV, messed with the FITV and checked the throttle cables & vaccum lines.

check for air bubbles in the coolant system, iac and fitv again. when your car surge unplug the iac plug what happened to the idle? is the surge stop?clean out your iac, and the fitv. besure that the ring inside the fitv is screw in all the way.

i have no bubbles in the coolant system, ive disconnected, cleaned and unplugged the iacv, made sure the plunger was screwed in all of the way on the FITV and it still surges after the car warms up

check for vacuum leaks. i read your sig. and you are using the chipped p28. try to swap out the ecu with a stock one. cause you had tried everything like you said. cause one of my friend swap out a stock ecu with a chipped one and his car had surge and throwing cel. come to find out his ecu missing an eprom.

iacv = idle air control valve. located behind the intake manifold.

you might want to look at this post.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=858155
did you check for bubbles in your coolant system? you might want to bleed your coolant system. when you unplug the sensor the ilde should go to normal, if it does that then your sensor is fine. if it still surge then your sensor is bad. when you remove the iac did you clean it? did you put the gasket back? did you cross thread the bolts?

you could have cross threaded the botls.

no vaccum leaks. it shouldnt be the ecu though bc i ran that in my old car with the same set up with no problems. i dont have the stock ecu anymore to try, but i have reset the ecu and i dont know what else it could be, other than tps???

my FITV does not look like that in the picture.. do i use different FITV if i have BBK TB?

and you kno how there is two holes inside the throttle? and the upper one is for IACV and the bottom one is for FITV? when i blocked the top one.. the idle went down and it guess it was on the normal idle.. is that mean my IACV is bad?
