Need to buy parts but unsure for which car or engine
Hey guys Im sorry about the weird title. lol.
Basically I bought a 94 Del Sol Si and it had 87k and SiR swap (B18C) claimed to have around 90k on the engine (its very clean and looks to be well taken care of)
To be honest I have prettt basic knowledge about cars.
anyways, I would like to buy a CIA and headers for it but I wasnt given a year of the SiR and im not sure if I should buy the parts for the Del Sol or SiR.
Thanks in advance 👍

you've gotta read the block, if it literally says b18c and not b18c1 or b18c5 it isn't a GSR its a Japanese engine, but it may have a USDM gsr cylinder head.
CAI may matter for the intake manifold depending on which engine it is but an easy way to do this is measure the opening on the manifold and call K&N and have them tell you which one to buy
You should post many pictures of the engine. The block stamp is next to the exhaust manifold next to the transmission I dunno where the head codes are tbh
apparently all b series exhaust manifolds are the same but the GSR has a separate intake manifold design because its dumb and different.

Don't listen to this person for anything but the most basic of information (if that). He will be the one to mislead you. And everyone knows what B-series engines look like. No need to post a picture.
You buy the part, those parts, for the engine, not the car.

I guess I meant engine as in the block and head. That would definitely be a good idea considering the amount of head swaps done out there and deck heights being different and all.
