My nieghbors son got deported to mexico and he has a rhd del sol sir that im very close to buying, but I have no clue on to how to get the car registered in CA. The dad has all the paperwork on the car but i guess they never registered it (dont ask me why because i have no clue). I tried researchin it but came to threads that were old and all people talk about is why buy a rhd car etc...

Anyone buy a jdm rhd car and ran into the same problem im going thru? any help is appreciated

A couple of years ago you many have been able to do it but now it's pretty much impossible unless you have a friend at dmv AND chp

if its to late to register the only thing would be to vin swap =O not good
