Budget B18b1 Turbo
Thinking of turboing my b18b1. As it sits now its a unmolested 1995 integra with 140,xxx kms on it. Very healthy motor. Maintenance is kept up on it.
All im hoping for is about 200whp. Just to have a little more fun. Looking to keep the engine entirely stock (bottom end and head). Looking for any ideas to help at all. Maybe running 5psi or so on a t25
Im not sure what to run for a tune? I know dyno tuning is a must but what to run? Hondata, crome, etc etc???
EDIT: Forgot to say to my car is a LS and DOES have the A/C option. Is that going to make a turbo harder to do? (Fitment wise)
Thoughts?
T25 turbo (used, not sure what brand)
Tial BOV
Wastegate if not internal
2.5" IC piping
small FM intercooler
Log style cast manifold
2.25" cat back magnaflow exhausts
DSM injectors or something equivalent?
Anything im missing?

I went with ebay IC pipes + intercooler, ebay turbo, ebay manifold - ended up buying a real turbo (silver surfer from theshodan), and kept the IC/pipes and manifold. Manifold ended up causing more headaches than it was worth, but my stubbornness made me want to keep it. Pipes are fine. You will probably have to weld a custom manifold anyway depending on the turbo you use. My friend is currently using the ebay turbo without any problems. Do you have a turbo already?

The s13 turbo is a straight t25. 14psi is it's limit
the s14 turbo is a hybrid single ball bearing t28. It has a journal bearing on the compressor end of the shaft and a rudimentary ball bearing on the exhaust side (not a caged bearing, simply ball shaped rollers that seat in a groove on the turbine housing and CHRA)
the s15 turbo is a full ball bearing gt2860r
s14 and s15 turbos aren't cheap. the s13 turbo might work ok but expect boost drop off at higher rpm. Honda cylinder heads are much more efficient than the high and low port sr heads
the dsm t25 is also small and it's goofy turbine inlet flange will make manifold selection nearly impossible... unless you get a manifold with a common flange like a t3 or t2 flange and use an adapter plate to fit the dsm flange pattern
a 16g or 18g, 60 trim t3 would fit your goals fine and can be had fairly cheap in good shape.

What might work best is just get a Greddy b series turbo kit. has an 18g internal wastegate turbo, cast manifold, etc.
I know one member in here is selling their kit.
I also have a b series Greddy turbo manifold (standard t25 turbine flange) that I've ported and gasket matched that I'd be willling to part with for the right price. it would allow you to run any t25 flanged internal wastegate turbo. you'd simply need to fabricate a downpipe and charge piping, find a turbo, get some fuel and engine management, a stronger clutch and you're good to go
