Default knock sensor replaced but still faulting for P0325 KS.

I have a 98 accord 2.3L coupe LX M/T with 230, 000 that's still running great. About two weeks ago my CEL came on and faulted for P0325 Knock Sensor. I went to Napa and bought a new one and installed it. I reset it and it worked for 10 minutes and the CEL poped again for the KS. I took it out and reinstalled it and it still is flashing for the KS. The car still runs like it always has. It doesn't seem sluggish and doesn't make any abnormal noises? Any suggestions would be awesome.

Check your knock sensor wiring.

Continuity is good all the way to the ECU.

Could be a bad ecu. Not common but possible.

I would wiggle the connector and wiring while checking for continuity. Could be a bad sensor out of the box. I would swap the new one for another.

I'm going to try that and swap the KS for a different one.

Well that did it. I received the new sensor this morning and installed it. That seems to have done the trick. I've put 70 miles on it so far and no fault. Never rule out that a new part good be bad. Thanks Mad_Mike and Holmesnmanny for your trouble shooting skills!
