Default Swapping out/in instrument cluster...

Me again...

D16Y7 '00 Hatch. I currently do not have a tach in my car. Didn't come with one. I'd like to have a tach in the instrument panel.

I snagged a gauge cluster from a manual EX. Can I just swap my speedo with that gauge cluster speedo and put it back together then install it? Is it simply plug n play? Or is there something else I need to know?

It works. Just did it. Plug n play. Watch your clips, I broke mine.

The redline is different, though.
