When I drag race, my tranny (itr) won't go in to 3rd. If i EASSSE up to 8k and shift, it goes in smoothly. When I rip thru the gears, 8 out of 10 times it wont go in. No grinding, just wont go till i let off the gas. My thoughs are the torque is moving the motor and thus the shift linkage is off some what. I have ES inserts and yes all 3 are in. I have a c's short shifter coming, thinking maybe the shorter throw will make it a simpler movement. Any ideas as to why? Are there more solid rear mounts offered by anybody. Better fluids (better than Honda Genuine?)?
What else can I do?

 

bump, is your spring pin holding its gound? Or did you use the old one when you did your swap?
