Tranny question. Help Please
When I drag race, my tranny (itr) won't go in to 3rd. If i EASSSE up to 8k and shift, it goes in smoothly. When I rip thru the gears, 8 out of 10 times it wont go in. No grinding, just wont go till i let off the gas. My thoughs are the torque is moving the motor and thus the shift linkage is off some what. I have ES inserts and yes all 3 are in. I have a c's short shifter coming, thinking maybe the shorter throw will make it a simpler movement. Any ideas as to why? Are there more solid rear mounts offered by anybody. Better fluids (better than Honda Genuine?)?

bump, is your spring pin holding its gound? Or did you use the old one when you did your swap?

dont know the mi, and no i dont powershift. Unless im racing i drive like miss daisy is in back. Im i get another ticket b4 march i loose my l's
