Default Need advice 8500 rpm rev

I Have A Turbo D Series That I Currently Rev To 7500 Rpm . The Head Is All Stock , I Want To Rev It To 8500 Rpm . As Far As I Know All I Will Need Is Springs And Retainers, Any Suggestions On What Spring & Retainers I Should Get ? Supertech? This Is A Daily Driver , But I Do Drag Strip It A Bit Just For Fun , Will Stock Cam Be Ok?

You need springs retainers keepers and supporting Camshafts. You can't just rev that high for the hell of it. It's prob not making power much past 7000 as it sits. Is the block stock too? If the bottom end is stock I would go any higher than you are right now
