Default Highest HP on stock LS head?

Someone I know locally said hes seen a stock ls head hit 460whp with a large turbo. Is this possible? out of scanning through tons of pages on the ls-t thread, i haven't seen more than 400whp, and I don't know if these are on dyno jets or mustang dynos.

I am planning on hitting over 400whp soon with methanol injection, 25+ psi. I may be picking up a t3 t67 turbo, but not 100% sure yet.

define "STOCK" because some consider stock just the porting but everything else upgraded. IMO stock is stock and you wont see much over 400 with a completely stock head and your going to need a whole bunch of RPM with a laggy *** t3/t67 to see power so it wont really be "STOCK" if you do cam and valve spring upgrades

touche.

stock, untouched head. stock ports, cams, retainers, springs, cams gears, intake manifold, throttle body. I guess i'll ditch the t3 t67 idea. Unless you can recommend another turbo for 650-700 that is t3 and capable for ~700hp? I think the closest is a 6262? But I haven't seen those cheaper than a grand.

You can't obtain those numbers with a stock head. You need springs retainers and a set of cams that will carry the torque curve higher regardless of which turbocharger chosen for that power level. The LS head just doesn't flow like a vtec head. It will take more boost to hit same hp levels and generally a given turbo will not produce the same peak number even when maxed out. IE a 700hp turbo on an ls will probably make around 600-625 vs a vtec head will hit the 700

This is like the 5th thread you've made about "How much power if xxx on LS head".

Just suck it up and buy some cams already.
