Most HP on Stock LS Head? (turbo) Dyno next week
I rather not browse through 1,000 pages on the LS turbo thread (Ive done about 200 pages so far. Anyways. I have seen a few people hit 400whp on a bone stock LS head. (not sure what kind of dyno)
Anyways, I hit 293whp on 14psi with a 100% complete stock b18b1 block. I now have NPR pistons (stock compression) and eagle rods, and my head is still stock. No porting, nothing.
I have a 60 trim turbo with a .63 ar exhaust housing. I want to get the most horsepower I can out of this motor. What should I expect? What have you gotten out of your stock head?
I have a dyno tune for next wednesday. I have thought about cams/retainers/springs/, but I rather not spend the $600 more dollars to hit 500whp, even thought that would be money well spent.
Any replies are greatly appreciated!

Not increasing efficiency with a set of cams you'll probably be around 400 hp with that turbo maybe a little more but if you know you should put in cams and its money well spent then do it. Otherwise it makes what it maks and that's that.
Why be so wrapped up in HP numbers. Honestly it doesn't even matter it's just a calculation on a loaded spinning wheel. Just tune the car take it to the track and that gives you real world numbers.

That turbo is gonna be angry past 400whp with no cams / stock intake etc. I dont see it happening. Also, why would you build the motor with cast pistons?
