short shifter? How to? Damn cut off!

Default short shifter? How to? Damn cut off!

Aight my stupid shifting thing, the guy like cut it, so my shift **** is all, well messedup and stuff. So i was wondering, if i buy like a "short shifter" off ebay or something for my crx, how hard will it be to put in, and also, will it feel alot different shifting? Thank you.

THey are very easy. The only problem I encountered was taking out the two bolts that face straight down. You may have to grab the tops of them with a pair of vice grips because they are T bolts. As you try to loosn the nuts from the bottom the bolts may slip. This is why the vice grips may be necessary.

i'm located just outside of worcester, ma.

i might actually have some garage space soon. if you wanted to take the trip down i'd help ya...if i end up getting the space. otherwise we'll both freeze our asses off.

Haha awsome man, well hopefully ill get a new shifter soon, lol. I was wonderin, do you have to take off the shift linkage to do it? Yea, its damn cold here in NH haha damn New England.

No. There is one bolt that goes threw the bottom of the Shifter. All together only three bolts are removed to do the shifter swap.

get someone to hold the bolts from inside the car while you loosen them from the bottom... takes what little hassle there is out of the process
