Default cut off toggle switch on crx 91 si

i put a toggle switch to kill the fuel pump on crx 91 si simple switch and wire loop ,,does any one see problems with this i got pics too ,,,,

should have put the switch under the dash. would be easier to reach, and you wouldn't have to open your trunk to turn it off and on.

also, shouldn't really leave the pics up. thieves love to know where kill switches are

That's an obvious place to look, but he says 'one of many.'
I hope you soldered the connections, and heat shrink is better than that electrical tape. Everything needs to be rated for so many amps. If you don't already have a kill for the main relay, do it. That would kill the pump and ecu.

interesting and i put it there so i could lock the compartment i ususally take the main relay with me when i leave i also have a boot and clutch lock ,,takes me time to get in my own car lmao ,,a thieve cant tow it cuz of the boot ,,seen it done before ,,and i did solder all the conections bout the switch not sure of the amp rating i should of checked it looked heavy duty ,,u cant stop a good car thieve all u could do is slow em down ,,got it under motion lights and drive way alerts ring ,,no car alam yet thou ,,and well in range of of my scope ,,i love my crx si restored just lacking a paint job original seats good condition brand new door pannels too even thou old ones where decent

a good thief will listen diagnose the problem and run his own wires ,,u could hear the fuel pump prime,,the ingnitions are horrible started the crx one day with my 93 civic EX car key by mistake and it was not even shaved ,,best thing u could do is creat layers never rely on a car alarm ,,,,...

i checked its a a heavy duty 20 or 15 amp brass toggle swith some times for marine use ,,whats the amp draw with the pump any way figured it would require a 15 amp fuse

1995 and down had a key issues where 1/5 keys would fit another Honda. It wouldn't start it but it would open the doors. I am surprised in your case because it started.
