Default Cam Timing And Forced Induction

I have a cam gear on my D16Z6. I also plan to turbo over the winter. How will cam timing effect the engine under boost? I have it advanced about 6 degrees right now. Will it make it any more or less prone to detonation either way? I'm still usuing the stock cam.

OK one note..I'm not talking about ignition timing. I know that has to be retarded. Cam timing has more to do with moving the power band around and the way it flows.

I don't think it would make MUCH difference in how prone you are to detonation...it will however bring in more or less air, depending, and thus make you more rich or lean. Which way it goes? I couldn't say, but Dyno could
