Assistance/input on cam selection
Alright, as the title states, I am looking for a little guidance or input on my selection of cams for my car. I am doing a moderate build on my motor. I do drive my 2000 Civic Si every once in a while on the street but intend to do some roadcourse racing with it. I have a 2000 B16B which is stock internally. I have a walbro 255fp, AEM cold air, Skunk2 megapower header, full 2.5" exhaust and polished tb and intake manigold (CTR). I have researched this and all I see is bickering about how most afyermarket cams make equal, less, and minuscule amounts of power. I would like good strong gains. I will be replacing the entire valvetrain, stock valve sizes, and will be running S300. I am interestedbin the S2 pro stage 2 cams. I would like info from guys who have worked with the civic typeR motor because everything ive been reading is about pieced together engines and swapping stock parts from tuis and that. I just figured I could get some of the pros involved. Thanksnin advance!
I will be selling the cams, valve springs, and retainers once I get my aftermarket components in. Im just looking for a little guidance rather than opinions. Such as why Crower rather than Buddy Club or Skunk2. As I said I have been researching hut all I evet see is people installing cams with no valvetrain mods, cams with minimal tuning, and that type of thing. I guess I will just go straught to the manufacturers and try to speak to them. I know he bottom end is solid being that its a full CTR swap. Im just lioking for experience with dealing with this engine. Not a B18 or B16A and such
Are you asking how to replace cams or which cams to buy? If you're trying to replace camshafts on DOHC VTEC B-series motors, you better have the right tools and knowledge of what you're doing. It doesn't seem like you have EITHER.
Talk to the guys at GSC cams. They are making some pretty kick *** cams. There is nothing special about camming a B16B compared to any other B series Vtec motor. Call GSC and they will help you with the best cam for your setup and goals. Then PM me on those CTR cams.

First off, the title states that I am looking for input or assistance on the selection of camshafts. With that being said, I do not need assistance physicallybinstalling them into the head, then back into the car. Sorry NVturbo for the confusion.
Secondly my goals are not specific. I have not chosen a magical hp number. I rarely drive the car on the road, but I will take it out from time to time. I have never owned a civic type R motor before but I have raced in the 1.6L red bracket race class on a few local around my area. I can do practically unlimited top end work, but must remain 1.6l in displacement and must remain NA. Wih that being said, I would specifically like to get some feedback from any guys who have worked on or replaced the cams in a B16B. I ask that specifically because the motor is more balanced, the head is a bit more polised and the compression is a bit higher than a B16A. What I have been reading here has had a lot to do with people bashing bad numbers on aftermarket cams. All im looking for is feedback or advise in my cam selection. I do not need anyone to make my decision for me.

And jesus... sorry about the typos.
Typing more than a few words in a text suck on smart phones.
Im not trying to giv people heart burn here. Im trying to get back into circuit racing. I have not owned a Honda since 2003 and the options have changed a bit since then. Since I have had two children since then, I had to step back down to my honda roots and away from my Subarus. Just looking for guidance in my build. Not help and I know there really is no "best" out there because everything is relative to supporting mods and ecu tuning.

Here http://www.power-division.com/home.php?cat=388. I keep telling you to contact them. I think the N2 cams would be good for you but I am no expert. The Blox Type B cams would also be a good choice.
Never had a problem with Blox parts and I have seen the Type B cams make good power on mild setups. Due note that I am recommending GSC cams over Blox cams. S2 Tuner1 or 2 may be a good choice as well.
Blox is just like SKUNK2, Chinese made crap that is re-branded. No thanks.
